Erin Dugai

Erin started her musical career at a young age, singing in church choirs and taking up piano lessons at age 5. She continued to hone her voice and piano skills by studying piano and voice throughout high school. She participated in chorus at Chickahominy Middle and show choir and acapella choir at Atlee High School, and she was selected for All-District and Virginia All-State Chorus multiple times. Erin went on to study music education at East Carolina University in Greenville, North Carolina. During her time at ECU, she was a member of the East Carolina Chamber Singers, with whom she sang at multiple conferences and gave performances around the country. Erin was also a choral scholar at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church and sang for the Greenville Choral Society. While in school, she taught private lessons to elementary, middle and high school students, both in-person and virtually during the pandemic. Since moving back to Richmond, she practices piano and voice privately and has been looking for teaching opportunities in the hometown she knows and loves. Erin is super excited to join the wonderful team at Thrive!
