What ages do Thrive summer camps serve?

Thrive camps serve students ages 4 – 12 in various programs throughout the summer. Students should be the minimum age listed by the first day of camp. Please check our website to see which programs might be the right fit for your student.

Does my child need to have experience playing an instrument to enroll in a Thrive summer camp?

All Thrive summer camps are designed to allow absolute beginners through intermediate players to have a fun and meaningful experience.

Where are Thrive summer camps located?

All camps take place on site at our primary location in Rutland (9102 Rutland Greens Way, Suite E). You can find us among other businesses and townhomes near the YMCA.

What if the camp I want is full?

If the camp that you are interested in is full, we can add your name to a waiting list. If a spot opens, we will let you know as soon as possible!

What is the refund/cancellation policy for summer camps?

All cancellations must be made in writing and will take effect from the date we receive such notice.

1. Cancellation received 30+ days prior to your 1st day of camp = full refund, minus $50 administrative fee

2. Cancellation received 14-29 days prior to your 1st day of camp = 50% refund, minus $50 administrative fee

3. Cancellation received 13 or fewer days prior to your 1st day of camp camp = no refund

4. No refunds or reimbursements will be offered for missed days of camp.

Cancellation by us: Thrive reserves the right to cancel the camp at any time before the advertised starting date. In the event of such cancellation, all deposits will be refunded in full.

How do I let you know that my child has allergies or special requests?

Be on the lookout for communication via email as we get closer to your camp session. We will be asking for any information such as this that we might need to know.

If my child has a learning disability or other disability, will Thrive camps be a good fit?

We recognize that music is important for ALL children. We want to support your child to the best of our ability. If you have questions about whether our camps would be a good fit for your child, please reach out so we can decide the best next steps together.

What if my child needs medication during the day?

Thrive is not authorized to administer medicine except in an emergency (i.e. Epi Pens, CPR, etc.). Should your child need medication throughout the day, and they are able to administer it themselves, then that is permitted. If a medication needs to be given that the camper cannot administer themselves, arrangements will need to be made for a parent or other trusted adult to come to camp and administer the medication.

What does my child need to bring to camp?

We ask all campers to bring a nut-free snack and water bottle each day.

What time can I drop off my child for camp each day?

Drop-off begins 10 minutes before the start of camp each day unless you opted for Early Arrival. If you opted for Early Arrival, drop-off begins at 45 minutes before the start of camp. If you would like to add this option, please contact us at admin@thrive-music.com.

Does Thrive have any full-day camps?

All summer camps are either 9 am-12 pm or 1 pm-4 pm Monday-Friday. If you need a full day camp option, you can register for the morning camp and afternoon camp and opt to stay between for a fee. If you would like to add this option, please contact us at admin@thrive-music.com.
